Walter Bright is a compiler writer, having implemented compilers for [http://www.digitalmars.com C, C++], [http://www.digitalmars.com/dscript/index.html ECMAScript], ABEL, Java and most recently the [http://www.digitalmars.com/d/2.0/index.html D programming language]. Walter is also known for inventing the [http://www.classicempire.com Empire] strategy game.&lt;br /&gt;
