Biography
Rod Begbie originally hails from Scotland, but is currently leaving his heart in San Francisco.
His day job is as a senior software engineer and sheep herder at Slide, makers of the finest social networking gizmos and distractions. Previously, he has been employed as an API architect at Current TV, in the R&D labs of Bose, as a consultant with Sapient and he ducked out the (first) dot-com-bubble-burst in the basement of a bank doing fixed-income annuity analysis, which is as dull as it sounds.
