Einar Landre is a software architect with more than 20 years of experience. He is currently holding a position as adviser in StatoilHydro, a major Oil & Gas company, focusing on architecting the next generation software systems to support what the Oil & Gas Industry call Integrated Operations a.k.a. Intelligent Oilfield. In his career he have held technical and managerial positions.
He's special interests includes object oriented software development and use of multi-agent platforms for more efficient support mission critical business processes. He has been the author and coauthor of several papers on Domain-Driven Design, presented at OOPSLA, and papers on use of multi-agent systems in Oil&Gas industry applications.
Before joining StatoilHydro he worked more than 10 year as consultant, and before that as software developer developing operating systems, communications protocols and test software for the aerospace industry in Europe. He holds a Bachelors degree in Informatics from University of Oslo and a Masters degree in Information Technology from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society and ACM.
